The OK162-12 is a 16 x 2 character alphanumeric display that uses Organic Light Emitting Diode (OLED) technology. OLED technology improves readability by offering a high contrast display with wide viewing angles and requires significantly less power to operate than VFD or even LCD units.
The OK162-12 is available with a variety of communication interfaces, including RS232, TTL, and I2C. It offers a 16pin general purpose input/output header, which provides 12 key input or 7 five volt outputs, and an optional one-wire interface. With multiple colour options, this versatile display can upgrade the look of an existing product, or become the focal point of a new design.
